looks philosophical

This is what a philosopher looks like.
I’m not actually a time lord.  I’m Jenny Saul, Professor of Philosophy and Head of Department at the University of Sheffield.  But I have a 6 year old, and he does like going to castles.  I work on analytic philosophy of language and feminist philosophy.  I’ve just finished a book on the lying/misleading distinction, and I’m running an interdisciplinary research project on unconscious bias.  I love that philosophy lets me pursue such huge variety of interests.  I also do a lot of work trying to improve the situation of underrepresented groups in philosophy, and in academia more generally.
